Rev. W.A. Tignor is dead. His death occurred last Monday at his home in
Jonesboro, and it was the sad end to a lingering illness of several months. The
deceased leaves a wife and eight children, among the latter being Messrs.
G.Y. and W.A. Tignor, Jr., prominent attorneys of Columbus, and Mr. R.S. Tignor,
a rising young businessman of Atlanta. Drs. J.A. Tignor, of Rome, and W.F.
Tignor of Columbus, are brothers of the deceased.
